Eligibility for NYSTCE Business and Marketing Exam
New York State Teacher Certification is available at two stages initial and proficient. To appear for NYSTCE Business and Marketing Exam candidate needs to prove his eligibility to the education board. Candidate should meet all the guidelines issued by the board to apply for the certification. For getting the initial level certificate candidate should have bachelor degree from state or national university. Candidate should also have workshop certificate of child abuse identification program and school violence prevention. This initial certification is valid for the period of three years. After this period candidate needs to upgrade the certificate from initial to proficient level.
Format of NYSTCE Business and Marketing Exam
NYSTCE Business and Marketing Exam includes 90 multiple choice questions and one subjective question. This exam is evaluated on the scale of 300, out of which 220 are the minimum marks required to get the certification. In case the candidate falls short of the marks then the candidate is liable to appear again in the exam after the period of 30 days. Total duration for completing the exam is 240 minutes. Candidate should try to attempt each and every question in the exam as there is no negative marking.
