MTTC Physics Test Study Guide
Michigan Department of Education conducts MTTC Physics Test to grant certification to aspiring educators of Michigan State. Candidate needs to prove his proficiency in core subjects as well as in general areas of education to get certification from the board. After getting this certification, candidate gets the permission to practice as a physics teacher in the Michigan State. Score of Michigan Test for Teacher Certification Physics Test is valid for the period of five years hence candidate should prepare well for the exam to get fair marks in the exam.
Eligibility for MTTC Physics Test
To appear for MTTC Physics Test, candidate should meet all the eligibility conditions of the Michigan Education board. Applicant should hold a bachelor degree from state/national university. Applicant should also have mastery in the subject from state approved college. Out of state candidate should have three years of teaching experience to get the certification from the Michigan Board. Applicant should be atleast 21 years of age when applying for the certification. Candidate should achieve passing marks in MTTC Physics Exam to get the certification.
Format of MTTC Physics Test
MTTC Physics Test includes multiple choice questions. Evaluation of MTTC Physics Test is done on the scale of 300, out of which 220 are the minimum marks required to get the certification. If the candidate falls short of the marks in the exam, then he is liable to appear again for the same test in the next schedule. Candidate gets 270 minutes to attempt the exam. MTTC Basic Skills Exam is a complementary exam which candidate needs to attempt to get certify as an educator. This exam includes reading, writing and mathematics section. Candidate needs to pass in all the three sections to get liable for further proceedings of certification process.
