MTTC Business Administration Test Study Guide

MTTC Business Administration Exam is conducted to grant certification to eligible candidates. This exam is administered by Michigan Department of Education. After getting these credentials candidate is eligible to practice in Michigan State as a business administration teacher. Michigan Test for Teacher Certification is available in two formats online and offline. Candidate can choose any of the options according to his will.

Eligibility for MTTC Business Administration Exam

To appear for MTTC Business Administration Exam, candidate should be atleast 21 years of age. Candidate should have bachelor degree from a national university or state approved college. Candidate should also have mastery in the subject to get eligible as an educator in Michigan State.

For out of state candidate, Michigan Education Department grants non renewable certification to those candidates who lack practical knowledge. If the candidate has three years of experience of teaching in any other state then he does not require appearing in any of the exam. Candidate is liable to get the certification from Michigan Education Board on the basis of his experience.

Format of MTTC Business Administration Exam

Following topics are involved in forming curriculum for MTTC Business Administration Exam. Candidate should study these topics hard to get good marks in the exam:-

• Mathematics, accounting and finance ledgers, accounting cycle, banking, transactions, taxing etc.

• Economics fiscal policy, monetary policy, world economy, consumer economics etc.

Scoring of MTTC Business Administration Exam is done on the scale of 300, out of which 220 are the minimum marks required to get the certification. MTTC Basic Skills Exam is a complementary exam that candidate requires to appear and clear before appearing for MTTC Business Administration Exam. MTTC Basic Skills Exam tests the candidates basic knowledge in Reading, Writing and Mathematics. There are 85 multiple choice questions and 1 constructive response query in MTTC Basic Skills Exam.

If the candidate falls short of the marks in the exam, then candidate is liable to appear again in the same after certain period of time.
