MTTC Hearing Impaired Test is conducted by Michigan Department of Education to grant certification to eligible candidate. After getting this certification, candidate can teach in Michigan State as a Hearing Impaired Educator. Eligibility for MTTC Hearing Impaired Test
To appear for MTTC Hearing Impaired Test, candidate should meet following requirements of the education board:-
- Applicant should have bachelor degree from state/national university.
- Applicant should have specialization in the subject from state approved college.
- Applicant should have three years of teaching experience (required only for out of state candidate)
Applicant should be 21 years of age while applying for the certification. Candidate should get passing marks in MTTC Hearing Impaired Test to get the certification from the board.
Format of MTTC Hearing Impaired Test
MTTC Hearing Impaired Test includes multiple choice questions. Scoring of MTTC Hearing Impaired Test is done on the scale of 300, out of which 220 are the minimum marks required to get the certification. If the candidate falls short of the marks, then candidate can reappear in the exam in the next schedule. However candidate needs to complete his entire registration formalities before the next schedule. The total duration for completing the exam is 270 minutes.
Apart from MTTC Hearing Impaired Test, candidate needs to appear for MTTC Basic Skills Exam. This exam includes three sections reading, writing and mathematics. Altogether there are 85 multiple choice questions and one subjective question.
