MTTC Earth/Space Science Test Study Guide
Michigan Department of Education conducts MTTC Earth/Space Science Test to grant certification to candidate. After getting this certification, candidate gains the permission to teach in Michigan State. Candidate needs to appear for MTTC Basic Skills Exam and MTTC Earth/Space Science Test to gain the certification from education department. Candidate needs to prove his proficiency in three basic areas to get the credentials.
Eligibility for MTTC Earth/Space Science Test
To appear for MTTC Earth/Space Science Test, applicant should meet the following requirements of Education Board:-
- Applicant should hold bachelor degree from state/national university
- Applicant should have specialization in the subject from state approved college
- Applicant should have three years of experience (for out of state candidates)
Applicant should be atleast 21 years of age while applying for the certification. Candidate should get passing marks in MTTC Earth/Space Science Test to get eligible for certification.
Format of MTTC Earth/Space Science Test
Scoring of MTTC Earth/Space Science Test is done on the scale of 300, out of which 220 are the minimum marks required to get the certification. MTTC Earth/Space Science Test includes multiple choice questions. The total duration for completing the exam is four and a half hour. If the candidate falls short of the marks in the exam then he is liable to appear again for the exam in the next schedule. MTTC Basic Skills Exam includes 85 multiple choice questions and one subjective question. Three sections in MTTC Earth/Space Science Test are:-
- Reading
- Writing
- Mathematics
Candidate should pass all three sections of MTTC Basic Skills Exam to get the certification.
