MTTC Economics Test Study Guide
MTTC Economics Test is administered by Michigan Department of Education to give credentials to eligible candidates. Candidate getting this certification gains the credibility and permission of Michigan Department of Education to practice in Michigan State. Candidate needs to appear for MTTC Basic Skills Exam other than in MTTC Economics Test to prove his proficiency in basic sectors of education. Candidate needs to pass all the three sections of MTTC Basic Skills Exam to get the certification.
Eligibility for MTTC Economics Test
To appear for MTTC Economics Test, applicant should meet all the requirements of Michigan Department of Education:-
- Applicant should hold a bachelor degree from state/national university
- Applicant should have specialization in the field from state approved university
- Applicant (out of state) should have three years of teaching experience
Applicant should be 21 years of age. If the candidate lacks experience then he can avail the non renewable certification from Michigan Department of Education.
Format of MTTC Economics Test
MTTC Economics Test includes multiple choice questions. Scoring of MTTC Economics Test is done on the scale of 300, out of which 220 are the minimum marks required to get the certification. If the candidate falls short of the marks in the exam then he is liable to reappear for the exam in the next schedule. The total time given to candidate for completing the exam is 270 minutes. MTTC Basic Skills Exam includes 85 multiple choice questions and one subjective question. The three sections in MTTC Basic Skills Exam are:-

- Writing
- Mathematics
