Format of TExES Science Exam

Texas Examination of Educators Standards is the premium board which conducts exam for filtering the candidates according to the required skills. To get selected for TExES certification, candidate should know the framework of the exam. Topics included in TExES Science Exam are scientific assessment, physics, chemistry, cell physiology, genetics, heredity, evolution, environment systems, earth sciences, life sciences etc. These topics carry unequal weightage and hence candidate should prepare them accordingly. This exam carries multiple choice questions. There are 130 multiple choice questions, out of which 10 are unscored. There is no negative marking therefore candidate should attempt maximum number of questions. The entire range of candidates score is converted on the scale of 300, out of which 240 is the minimum marks required for getting the certification.
