Format of TExES Chemistry 7-12 Exam
TExES Chemistry 7-12 Exam tests candidates' efficiency and deep knowledge of the subject. Topics to be covered in TExES Chemistry 7-12 Exam are physical chemistry, matter, energy, chemical reactions, scientific knowledge and instruments, instructions, and assessment. These topics carry unequal weightage hence candidates should prepare well for them. There are in total 100 questions to be asked in the exam. Out of these 100 questions, 80 are scored and 20 are unscored questions. The questions included in the exam are of multiple choices and are of either single item or clustered material. Scientific calculators, periodic tables, physical constant are provided at the test center. The candidate should try to attempt and answer maximum questions since no negative marking is done for incorrect answers. The entire score of the candidate is converted on a scale of 300, 240 is the minimum passing mark.
