To appear in TExES Educational Diagnostic Exam, candidate should satisfy eligibility conditions listed by the board. Applicant should meet all the educational requirements displayed by the SBEC board. First of all candidate should possess AGCA teaching certificate verified by the SBEC. Secondly candidate should hold a certificate degree or appearing in the last semester of the degree.
Format of TExES Educational Diagnostician Exam
TExES Educational Diagnostic Exam tests the candidates capability and efficiency in the subject. Topics covered in TExES Educational Diagnostic Exam are understanding and training the students with disability, assessment and evaluation of the students and students with physical or mental disability, designing and planning curriculum, studying students behavior, evaluating and assessing the strategies, foundations and roles of relationships between family and the students etc. These topics carry unequal weightage, hence candidate should prepare accordingly. This exam carries 90 questions, out of which 80 are scored and 10 are unscored. TExES Educational Diagnostic Exam consists of multiple choice questions either of single item type or cluster item. There is no negative marking for wrong answers hence candidate should attempt maximum questions. The entire score of the candidate is converted on the scale of 300, out of which 240 is the minimum passing marks.
