Eligibility for GACE Professional Pedagogy Exam
To appear for GACE Professional Pedagogy Exam, candidate should meet all the requirements issued by the board. Candidate should have bachelor degree and certification from the state approved college for getting the renewable certification. If the candidate is enrolled in any certification program at the time of filing of application then also candidate can apply for the certification. However this certification will be non renewable unlike the former one.
Format of GACE Professional Pedagogy Exam
GACE Professional Pedagogy Exam involves two sub tests. Each sub test includes objective and subjective questions.
Sub test I
- Development of student 30 objective questions and 1 subjective question
- Environment of learning 30 objective questions and 1 subjective question
- Assessment and instructions 30 objective questions and 1 subjective question
- Roles and responsibilities of a professional pedagogic 30 objective questions and 1 subjective question.
Sub test II
Scoring of GACE Professional Pedagogy Exam is done on the scale of 300, out of which 220 are the minimum marks required to get the certification. Candidate should study the objective section well as 80% weightage of the total score is given to objective part.
