GACE Art Education Exam Study Guide

This exam is called as Georgia Assessment for the Certification of Educators. Examination specific for Art education is GACE Art Education Exam. Candidate needs to pass GACE Art Education Exam to get the certification and practice in Georgia State. Candidate can register for GACE Art Education Exam through internet, telephone or by via mail. Candidate can also create his own log in for future assistance and result from the board. GACE Art Education Exam is composed of two sub tests. Candidate needs to pass in both the subtests to achieve the certification.
Eligibility for GACE Art Education Exam
To appear for GACE Art Education Exam, candidate needs to possess bachelor degree with certification from state approved college. Candidate is liable to get renewable certification if he possesses both degree and certification in the requested subject. In case candidate possesses only bachelor degree, he is liable to apply for non renewable certification and can complete the requisite eligibility in the given time.
Format of GACE Art Education Exam
GACE Art Education Exam is composed of two sub tests. Sub tests one is composed of skills and knowledge of artists, connectivity of the artist with the art. 36 objective questions are formed out of former topics and 24 objective questions are composed out of the latter one. One question of subjective style is formed out of the above topic.
Sub test two is composed of understanding of aesthetics analysis and historical and cultural relationship with art. The former one has 33 objective questions while the latter topic constitutes 27 objective questions. Like sub test one, each topic makes a subjective questions.
Scoring of GACE Art Education Exam is done on the scale of 300. Out of which 220 are the minimum marks. While scoring 80% weightage is given to objective question and rest 20% weightage is given to subjective questions. Candidate should not forget to sign the answer sheet document otherwise the scores will be declared as null and void.
