Oklahoma Subject Area Test is conducted by the CEOE board to grant certification to the eligible candidates. A candidate who clears this test gets the certification from the board and permission to practice as an educator in Oklahoma State. Certification Examination for Oklahoma Educators Board gives several facilities to the candidate regarding payment facilities and registration formalities. Moreover, the candidate can select the exam date and center according to his convenience and will. Candidates can report any anomaly in the exam to the board by just writing in the application to the authority.

Eligibility for OSAT Physical Education/Health/Safety Test


CEOE issues some eligibility criteria for candidates to appear in OSAT Physical Education/Health/Safety Test. These conditions are to be fulfilled by the candidate before applying for the certification. The candidate should possess a bachelor's degree with no criminal past record. If the candidate has an appreciation certificate from Oklahoma Higher Education Institute, it can lead to faster processing of the candidate's application. The candidate is eligible to hold this certification for the period of five years only. After this period, the candidate has to apply again for upgrading the certification.

OSAT Physical Education/Health/Safety Test includes the following topics:-

  • Concepts and principles of health development
  • Growth

All the above topics carry due weightage in the exam hence candidate should study these all headings substantially. This exam is composed of 80 multiple choice questions of objective type. The scoring of candidates' performance is done on a scale of 100-300, out of which 240 are the minimum marks required to get the certification. In case the candidate is not able to make it on the first attempt then he/she is eligible to apply again for the exam after 120 days.
