The progressive care certified nurse examination is taken by the American association for critical care nurses. The progressive care certified nurses are required to work in the area of intermediate care, direct observation, step down, telemetry, transitional care or emergency.
Format for PCCN - Progressive Care Certified Nurse Exam
The PCCN is a criterion referenced computer based test. This examination lasts for around two and a half hours. The PCCN examination has a total of 125 questions out of which 100 are for raw scores while the other 25 are the pre test questions.
