IAAP-CAP - Study Guide Test Preparation
The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) offers the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) assessment. Becoming certified demonstrates the commitment and professionalism that you are expected to show towards your job. IAAPs core values include integrity, encouragement, leadership, loyalty, professionalism, significance, pride, connection and individual importance.
The candidates are to qualify for a certain eligibility criterion before they appear for this test. IAAP-CAP is a four section test with multiple choice questions. The test usually takes a day and a half. Usually a candidate can appear for this test six times in three years. The sections of the test are as follows:
Office Systems and Technology this section evaluates the candidates knowledge regarding the computer hardware system and configuration, document layout design and reproduction, managing physical resources and software management and usage
Office Administration assesses candidates ability to handle records and communicate with others.
The third section evaluates the candidates management abilities see how he performs with human resources management, accounting procedures and analysis, time management and communication with the staff and clients.
The fourth section is concerned with the Advanced Organizational Management the candidate is evaluated for organizational planning, advanced administration team skills and advanced communication skills.
