Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE):
ISEE is an admission test supervised at three levels:
Lower Level:
This level of ISEE test is meant for grade 4 and grade 5 students who are prospective candidates for admission into grade 5 and 6 respectively.
Middle Level:
This level of ISEE test is undertaken by students in grades 6 and 7 who are prospective candidates for admission into grade 7 and 8 respectively.
Upper Level:
This level of ISEE test is designed for students in grade 8, 9, 10 and 11 who are prospective candidates for admission into grade 9, 10, 11 and 12 respectively.
Format For Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE):
The ISEE consists of three parts at each level:Verbal And Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension And Mathematics Achievement and Essay.
Following are the number of questions asked from each of the sections at each level of ISEE examination:
ISEE Lower Level:
Verbal Reasoning
34 are included from this section at the lower level. Candidate gets 20 minutes to solve this section.
Quantitative Reasoning
38 are included from this section at the lower level. Candidate gets 35 minutes to solve this section.
Reading Comprehension
25 are included from this section at the lower level. Candidate gets 25 minutes to solve this section.
Mathematics Achievement
30 are included from this section at the lower level. Candidate gets 30 minutes to solve this section.
Essay
The candidates are 30 minutes to write an essay. This section is not scored.
ISEE Middle Level:
Verbal Reasoning
40 are included from this section at the lower level. Candidate gets 20 minutes to solve this section.
Quantitative Reasoning
37 are included from this section at the lower level. Candidate gets 35 minutes to solve this section.
Reading Comprehension
36 are included from this section at the lower level. Candidate gets 35 minutes to solve this section.
Mathematics Achievement
47 are included from this section at the lower level. Candidate gets 40 minutes to solve this section.
Essay
The candidates are 30 minutes to write an essay. This section is not scored.
ISEE Upper Level:
