North American Veterinary Licensing Examination NAVLE:


Developed in November 2000 after it replaced the National Board Examination (NBE) and the Clinical Competency Test (CCT)
Is required to practice as a veterinarian in North America
Administered in computer based format.
Consists of 360 multiple choice questions

Veterinary Technician National Exam VTNE:


Administered by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB)
Exam is taken at Prometric Testing Centres throughout the US and Canada.
VTNE is administered in computer-based format.
Consists of 200 multiple-choice scored questions
