Things To Carry In Prometric Center

When candidates appear for any exam, it is important to ensure that they are tested under equally favorable conditions. Prometric reserves standard rights to audiotape and videotape all the test sessions to ensure fair and appropriate conduct. Under Prometric, standardized regulations and procedures are observed across the test centers. Following regulations should be followed in the test session:-

• While at the testing center, you are not allowed to use your own prepared written notes, any kind of published material, or testing aid. Any kind of material that you are allowed during the test is provided by Prometric at the test location during the day of testing.
• Please note- Every testing site may have different requirements about the materials you can carry. So kindly read the requirements carefully.
• You will be monitored using video sessions, physical walk-throughs, and observation windows.
• You must carry and share your present valid ID that is acceptable during the test. Be sure that the ID you carry is a government-issued ID and your Prometric scheduling confirmation to the test center.
• Please note- Each testing organization has different requirements therefore it is important to check the individual requirement for each center separately. So please read your testing center requirements carefully.
• Every time you leave the test room, you are required to sign out on the test center roster.
• You must also sign back in and show your ID to the administrator at the test center in order to readmit yourself to the test room.
• You are allowed to bring your own earplugs or use the ones that are provided at the test center. They will be helpful in reducing the distracting noises in the surroundings.
• You must not bring any personal items that are unauthorized to the test room. Such items are included but are not limited to covers- hats, food, drinks, purses, briefcases, notebooks, cellular, watches, recording devices, pagers, smartwatches, google glasses, electronic devices, and photographic equipment. All the personal items that you carry can be stored in the locker provided by Prometric. Weapons are not allowed to be carried to any Prometric test center.
• You must not carry any kind of paper notes, published materials, or testing aid to the computer testing centers. Scratch paper or dry erase board will be provided for assistance by the testing center.
• Food items can be stored in a smaller locker that will be provided at the testing centers. You can access the lockers for food or medicine only during the breaks and you must inform the Prometric staff before you retrieve them.

These are some of the important things to carry on the examination day at the Prometric Centre. We would suggest not to carry any kind of prohibited item at the testing location as it can have an adverse effect and you may even be not allowed to appear in the exam. Hence make sure to follow the guidelines and carry only those items that are permitted.
