Avoid Procrastination:
Procrastination takes you onto the opposite path from your studies. It causes uncertainty and proves disastrous for your exam performance. Make sure that you maintain a proper studying schedule so that you enter the testing location all set and prepared.
Repeat class notes regularly:
Doing homework is very essential. Give your notes a thorough look at least once everyday so that you do not land into a messed up situation a night before the exam. Pay special attention to topics or items the presenter plaid special emphasis on. If possible highlight them so that the next time you return to them you know of what importance they are.
Study in bits:
Don't try to master all trades at one go at least during your study sessions. Carefully divide your study into small sections. Start covering sections one by one and take break after each section so your mind can digest things well. During the break do all you can to refresh yourself- walking around, munching snacks or meditating.
Pay Attention:
Take interest in whatever you study rather than just going through it. This will let you put all your positive energies into your study session helping you further to process and understand whatever you study. This ensures a sharp memory.
Avoid distractions:
Stay away from distractions that drag you away from your studies. Keep away from television or cellphones. If possible sit in a place that is out of reach from all distractions. This will make your study time more effectual.
Utilise Memory tools:
Making study time fun can prove helpful in increasing memory fourfold. Use memory tools such as study guides , acronyms or acronymic sentences. Using different colored inks to highlight different topics can also be constructive.
