The NES tests align with the Common Core standards, a set of standards set on the national level in public schools. Every test has its own set of frameworks and the content of the test always varies depending on the theme, this means no test has the same unified syllabus. But every test overview has:

Format of National Evaluation Series Certification Test(NES) Exam


The NES is an all-computer program test, with the goal of offering year-round testing and availability to all teachers. As an applicant, one can take the computer-based test or online proctoring test over their private computer. Most importantly, the test offers almost immediate test results to the teachers. Every test takes one to three hours, always with an extra 15 minutes for signing a nondisclosure agreement. Every one of the NES tests requires a fee to be paid when applying to the NES website.
