This exam carries multiple choice questions. This is the first time that ICC will be holding online test series in nearly 200 centers across the country. ICC conducts this exam 3 times in a year. The exam is focused on the topics like anatomy and physiology of human body, safety issues concerning patients and environment, basic knowledge of electronic equipments and devices carrying solid state characteristics, problem curing ideology of the candidate, and indepth information about the technology being used in health sector. Eligibility for CBET ICC Certification for Biomedical Equipment Technicians Exam
There are two status concerning with this certification. First one is candidate status for which applicant must possess associate degree in biomedical or electronics (latter must be accompanied by work experience of one year as a bio medical equipment technician). In case you are void of any technical degree than two years work experience as biomedical equipment technician will work for fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Other then this is certification status in which educational qualification will remain same, only the working experience will get double fold. With biomedical degree, applicant will be needing 2 years experience as a technician and with electronics degree 3 years experience is must in same field. In case if candidate fail to get any of the technical degree than 4 years experience as a bio medical technician will fulfill the eligibility criteria.
