Format for IBCLC - International Board Certified Lactation Consultation Exam
IBCLC exam of lactation consultants is designed for a set of two hundred questions out of which 125 questions are based on scenarios and words and 75 questions are based on photographs. Exam for the lactation consultants is designed in a way to judge the decision making skills of the applicants. The exam is not simply based on the raw facts or concepts regarding the contents. This exam is conducted in the last week of the month July every year at various locational sites. This exam is divided into two sessions of hundred questions each.
